Our $2000 Challenge is a choose-your-own-adventure race car story

Those choose-your-own adventure books from your childhood? Our Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge presented by Tire Rack, Powered by AutoBidMaster and Built by Carlyle Tools is a lot like those in that you can choose what you want to compete in.
Since its earliest days, our $2000 Challenge has sought out who can build the fastest car without going over a set budget–in this case, $2000.
More recently, however, we’ve opened up competition to cars built for more than that to compete in their own classes.
Autocross? Drag racing? Both? The choice is yours to make. (Though we share no responsibility for any peer pressure you may receive from fellow competitors.)
Our $2000 Challenge returns to Gainesville Raceway, in Gainesville, Florida, April 18-19.
Sign up today to reserve your spot in the $2000 Challenge.
The Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge is presented by Tire Rack, powered by Autobidmaster and built by Carlyle Tools, in Association with CRC Industries, Knight's Automotive and BendPak.
