$2000 CHALLENGE SCHEDULE

THIS IS A TENTATIVE SCHEDULE FOR GENERAL REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY.

THE OFFICIAL SCHEDULE FOR 2025 WILL BE RELEASED AS THE EVENT DRAWS CLOSER.


Friday, March 28

Unless you’ve purchased a camping pass, do not go to the track on Friday.
12 p.m. — Early trackside camping check-in opens. Staff will be focused on setting up the venue. Pull in the main gate with your hazards on for camping check-in.
5 p.m.-8 p.m. — Optional early registration in lobby of Best Western Gateway Grand (We highly recommend you register Friday to avoid Saturday’s registration line).
7 p.m. — Track gates close. No further camping check-in until Saturday morning.


Saturday, March 29

7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.—Registration open outside gate
7:00 a.m.—Track gates open

8:00 a.m. —Autocross course open for walking
7:30 a.m.-9:15 a.m.—Tech inspection at flag
9:00 a.m.—Event welcome meeting at timing trailer
9:15 a.m.—Mandatory novice meeting at timing trailer
9:15 a.m.-4:00 p.m.—$2000 Challenge Autocross:

The following autocross schedule is only a rough estimate, and each group may take more or less time to complete three runs.

9:15 a.m.—Group A 3 runs
9:45 a.m.—Group B 3 runs
10:15 a.m.—Group C 3 runs
10:45 a.m.—Group A 3 runs
11:15 a.m.—Group B 3 runs
11:45 a.m.—Group C 3 runs
12:30 p.m.-1:00 p.m.—Worker lunch break
1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.—Course opens to all for missed runs/fun runs

5:00 p.m. — Drag Racing orientation for new drivers at pavilion. Hosted by $2000 Challenge record-holder Andrew Nelson
6 p.m. –9 p.m. — $2000 Challenge Drag Racing
10:00 p.m. — Track gates close to those not camping


Sunday, March 30

9:00 a.m. — Track gates open
9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. — Registration open outside gate
9:00 a.m. — Hagerty Cars & Caffeine begins
9:00 a.m. — $2000 Challenge swap meet (used parts for sale) begins
9:15 a.m. — Concours pavilion opens for move-in.
10:00 a.m. — Judging begins
Noon — Judging lunch break
2:00 p.m. — Judging ends
2:00 p.m. — Panel Discussion: How to Win the $2000 Challenge
3:00 p.m. — Awards Ceremony at Gainesville Raceway
4:00 p.m. — Competitor town hall
5:00 p.m. — Trackside camping closes
