Build a car for less than $2000, enter your over-budget build, or both.
They’ll all battle against each other at Gainesville Raceway to see if money really equals speed.
If you wish to compete, you must sign up online prior to the event.

Grand Marshal: Bill Cuttitta
Bill is a veteran $2000 Challenge competitor who exemplifies the spirit of the event and has been participating ever since the very first $2000 Challenge more than 25 years ago.
He’s been there for all of the excitement, from the event’s early days to those 9-second runs to our next generation of builders. Most recently, you saw him as a concours judge and a panelist at the 2023 $2000 Challenge, and now he’s an official part of the staff.
Special Guest: Randy Pobst
Randy Pobst is a pro driver, automotive high performance expert and frequent columnist for Grassroots Motorsports magazine.
He has quite the racing résumé: Four World Challenge championships, more than 90 pro victories and two Rolex 24 At Daytona class wins. And like many in the racing world, his roots go back to autocross, making him a perfect guest for the $2000 Challenge.
